Experiences

I may only be 14,

But I’ve had lots of experiences.

I've experienced watching my Dad

Been killed by the fact my mum has decided to leave her once loved life.

I've experienced my own heart being broken,

I've been cheated on,

Used and abused or just because it was my own fault.

I've experienced breaking other hearts too,

And seeing the hurt in their eyes

I've experienced making new friends

But like everyone else they left me.

I've experienced so-called friends

Hurting me in ways I never thought possible.

I've experienced best friends

Leaving to live another life.

I've experienced watching people being happy and content with their lives,

Not giving a dam about others.

I've experienced short times of happiness

And then falling back again.

I've experienced new way of loving and knowing what I want

Ice experienced changes in my life and seeing someone new

Every time I look in the mirror.

I've experienced seeing my brother grow

Into someone I love and trust.

I've experienced bulling,

Being the bully or being bullied.

I've experienced hatred in my heart

And feeling cold

I’ve experienced people hating me,

And knowing they want to hurt me.

I’ve experienced being drunk and doing stupid things

I’ve experienced smoking and now think it its stupid

I’ve experienced pain, by being alone,

I've experienced new ways of living

Through good times and bad,

I’ve experienced, loving someone so much,

It has turned to hate.

I’ve experienced feeling wanted

And feeling warm

I’ve experienced feeling unwanted

And feeling cold,

I’ve experienced helping my family and friends,

And feeling good.

I've experienced doing new things

Through life and realising life gets hard

I’ve experienced that no matter how hard you try

You will never always be happy

I may only be 14
