MY SON

My heart has been broken and torn apart,

My little boy lost and I’m falling apart.

The days they are dreary my life’s in despair,

So what, who knows, I don’t really care.

But wait, there’s a glimmer of light through the clouds,

I must pull myself together and start feeling proud,

For there’s a life still ahead that I can lead,

With my little boy found, my hearts feeling glee.

For we can still see each other and play to and fro,

And one day together sidecar racing we will go.

SEPARATION.

I know you warned me but I would not listen,

My dreams lay unfulfilled,

You chewed me up and spat me out like so many others before,

For my eyes were closed and heart was open thus I did not see the signs,

So now the world is spinning round and I've lost my little boy,

So when do I see him, when can I play, for he's growing "oh" so fast,

But you just treated me like a rag from your dead and decaying past,

All I did was go for help for the family and us,

But you just saw it as a threat and treated me unjust,

Now I will go and put my life, little pieces back together,

And spend my time a waiting here for my little treasure.

FRIENDS

You and me to eternity,
friends we'll always be,
Happy, sad or feeling bad it's friends yes you and me,
If were together or far apart, still friends we will always be,
Whether in the day or in the dark, it's my friend I want to see,
I feel my friend, I hear my friend on the phone or in the car,
Yes it's you my friend I talk to with my problems hopes and fears,
Your the one who's near and dear and keeps me full of cheer,
Without a friend like you my dear, I dont know what I'd do,
For there's nothing I like better than being next to you!

Like the breeze that caresses your hair,

Now there is no turning back,

My love and I that’s where we’re at,

No more smiles or sending flowers,

Just bitching and grizzling for hours and hours,

I should have known right from the start,

For love is blind and we don’t see,
