The Energy Within

I trust that when you look at me,
That you do not judge or mislead,
But open up your hearts,
To all that I need.

For I look at the message
That I found within the depths of despair
And rise above the response
And believe that you care.

In the high spirited level of pain,
I know that I can be strong,
And re-discover my feelings,
With sense of right and wrong.

I believe in the energy within myself,
And understand its good use,
I'm going to put myself first
And I'm no longer going to lose.

For I have now found peace,
And feel loved so deep
My heart is no longer sore
I no longer want to weep.
